JL Lennard will showcase a Freemantle Semi-automatic Cartoner, which is easy to use. Flat cartons are loaded into the machine hopper, and products from upstream equipment are automatically delivered to the load station via an integral conveyor. The cartoning machine, upon demand, selects and erects the flat cartons for the operator to place products manually into the open cartons. The machine then automatically folds the end flaps, applies glue for sealing, and ejects the sealed cartons at a rate of up to 80 packs per minute.
